Meet the owner
My name is Celine Cedeno and I am the owner/ director of Discover-U Learning Center. I am a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a dual certification degree in Early Childhood/Early Childhood Special Education. I have always had a passion for teaching young children and feel that it is my true purpose to make a positive impact in my community through the power of education.
Our Approach
Our center focuses on the “discovery learning” approach, which encourages children to build on their existing knowledge to acquire new information. This is a method of inquiry-based instruction, which allows children to use their imagination and creativity to explore their natural environment in order to solve problems and learn.
